The Savior – <\/span><\/b>The Person <\/b>of Jesus Christ<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Humility and Exaltation of Christ – Part 3<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Psalm 2:8-12<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth. <\/p>\n

Worship the Lord <\/span>with reverence, And rejoice with trembling. Do homage to the Son, <\/p>\n

lest He become angry, and you perish in <\/i>the<\/span> way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. <\/p>\n

How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! NASB<\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/p>\n

Ruler of the Nations<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>\n

What is more is that this man Christ Jesus will reign as King over all the earth from His throne in Jerusalem<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>. Jesus will be the ruler of the nations of the earth, and ALL the nations will come and worship the Lord and acknowledge His Lordship. This will happen during the Millennium. <\/p>\n

Psalm 86:9-10<\/span><\/b> – 9 All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and worship before Thee, O Lord; And they shall glorify Thy name<\/span><\/b>. 10 <\/span><\/b>For Thou art great and doest wondrous deeds; Thou alone art God. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Psalm 22:27-28<\/span><\/b> – 27 <\/span><\/b>All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord<\/span>, And all the families of the nations will worship before Thee. 28 <\/span>For the kingdom is the Lord’s<\/span>, And He rules over the nations<\/span><\/b>. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

There will come a day yet future when God will establish Christ’s throne and kingdom and He will rule all other nations. His kingdom will never end or be destroyed.<\/p>\n

Daniel 7:27<\/span><\/b> – 27 <\/span><\/b>‘Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all <\/span><\/i>the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be <\/i>an everlasting kingdo<\/span><\/b><\/span>m, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.<\/span><\/b>‘ NASB<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel 2:44<\/span><\/b> – 44 <\/span><\/b>“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed<\/span><\/b>, and that <\/i>kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will<\/span><\/b><\/span> itself endure forever<\/span><\/b>. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

In this Kingship, all the nations of the earth will come and pay homage to Jesus the King. This is God’s warning to all the king’s of the earth.<\/p>\n

Psalm 2:8-12<\/span><\/b> – 8 <\/span><\/b>‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Thine inheritance, And the very <\/span><\/i>ends of the earth as Thy possession. 9 <\/span>‘Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron, Thou shalt shatter them like earthenware.<\/span><\/b>‘” 10 <\/span><\/b>Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth<\/span><\/b>. 11 <\/span><\/b>Worship the Lord <\/span>with reverence, And rejoice with trembling. 12 <\/span>Do homage to the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish in <\/i>the<\/span> way, For His wrath may soon be kindled.<\/span><\/b> How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Christ will yield exceeding great power over them and they shall live under His rule or be destroyed. He will Judge the nations with justice and they will obey Him.<\/p>\n

Psalm 110:5-6<\/span><\/b> – 5 <\/span><\/b>The Lord is at Thy right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath. 6 <\/span>He will judge among the nations<\/span><\/b>, He will fill them <\/i>with<\/span> corpses, He will shatter the chief men over a broad country. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The kings of the earth will be in subjection to Him and will serve Him. The extent of this rule will be worldwide including men from every tribe and language. <\/p>\n

Psalms 72:10-11<\/span><\/b> – 10 <\/span><\/b>Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents; The kings of Sheba<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place> and Seba offer gifts. 11 <\/span><\/b>And let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him<\/span><\/b>. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel 7:13-14<\/span><\/b> – 13 <\/span><\/b>“I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. 14 <\/span><\/b>“And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations, and men of every <\/i>language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will no<\/span>t pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed<\/span><\/b>. NASB<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Zechariah 14:16-20<\/span><\/b> – 16 <\/span><\/b>Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord <\/span>of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 17 <\/span><\/b>And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem<\/st1:City><\/st1:place> to worship the King, the Lord <\/span>of hosts, there will be no rain on them<\/span><\/b>. 18 <\/span><\/b>And if the family of Egypt<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place> does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall <\/span><\/i>on them; it will be the plague with which the Lord <\/span>smites the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 19 <\/span>This will be the punishment of Egypt<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place>, and the punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths<\/span><\/b>. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

His throne will be located<\/i> in Jerusalem<\/st1:City><\/st1:place> and from Mount Zion Jesus the King will reign over all the earth! At this time God will restore His people Israel<\/st1:country-region> to Himself, and they will dwell in the land<\/st1:PlaceType> of Israel<\/st1:PlaceName><\/st1:place> which He promised to them. <\/p>\n

Ezekiel 20:40-41<\/span><\/b> – 40 <\/span><\/b>“For on My holy mountain, on the high mountain of Israel<\/span><\/b>,” declares the Lord God<\/span>, “there the whole house of Israel, all of them, will serve Me in the land; there I shall accept them<\/span><\/b>, and there I shall seek your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your holy things. NASB<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Micah 4:7<\/span><\/b> – 7 <\/span><\/b>“I will make the lame a remnant, And the outcasts a strong nation, And the Lord <\/span>will reign over them in Mount<\/st1:PlaceType> Zion<\/st1:PlaceName><\/st1:place> From now on and forever<\/span><\/b>. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Ezekiel 37:21-22<\/span><\/b> – 21 <\/span><\/b>“And say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God<\/span>,” Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 <\/span><\/b>and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them<\/span><\/b>; and they will no longer be two nations, and they will no longer be divided into two kingdoms. NASB<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

There God’s people Israel<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place> will have Peace as the Prince of Peace their Messiah has brought them great security.<\/p>\n

Zechariah 14:8-11<\/span><\/b> – 8 <\/span><\/b>And it will come about in that day that living waters will flow out of Jerusalem<\/span><\/b>, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter. 9 <\/b>And the Lord <\/span>will be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord <\/span>will be the only <\/i>one, and His name the only <\/i>one<\/span><\/b>.<\/span> 10 <\/span><\/b>All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem<\/st1:City>; but Jerusalem<\/span><\/b><\/st1:City> will rise and remain on its site<\/span><\/b> from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower<\/st1:PlaceType> of Hananel<\/st1:PlaceName><\/st1:place> to the king’s wine presses. 11 <\/span><\/b>And people will live in it, and there will be no more curse, for Jerusalem<\/st1:City><\/st1:place> will dwell in security<\/span><\/b>. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

So it will be in the latter days, Jesus the King will be highly exalted in the sight of all nations and kingdoms, and they will give Him glory and serve Him.  <\/span>This will happen during the Millennium, the 1000 year period of Christ physical Rule upon the earth with His Saints. During this time Satan will be bound and have no influence upon mankind.<\/p>\n

Revelation 20:1-3<\/span><\/b> – And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 <\/span><\/b>And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years<\/span><\/b>, 3 <\/span><\/b>and threw him into the abyss, and shut it <\/span><\/i>and sealed it <\/span><\/i>over him, so that he should not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time. NASB<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Toward the end of the Millennium, there will be a final rebellion against Christ by the nations, at which time He will destroy them forever, along with Satan. This will be the final doom of Satan and all the wicked, and the Eternal<\/st1:PlaceName> State<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> will be ushered in. <\/p>\n

Revelation 20:7-10<\/span><\/b> – 7 <\/span><\/b>And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, 8 <\/span>and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war;<\/span><\/b> the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. 9 <\/span><\/b>And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them<\/span><\/b>. 10 <\/span><\/b>And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. NASB<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In this Eternal<\/st1:PlaceName> State<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> there will no longer be any sin in God’s Kingdom and the inhabitants of the earth will rest in peace forever.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Revelation 21:24-27<\/span><\/b> – 24 <\/span><\/b>And the nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory into it.<\/span><\/b> 25 <\/span><\/b>And in the daytime (for there shall be no night there) its gates shall never be closed; 26 <\/span><\/b>and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it<\/span><\/b>; 27 <\/span><\/b>and nothing unclean and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. NASB<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
