About Heaven’s Light

Heaven’s Light is an outreach to anyone interested in the Holy Bible, God’s Word. Here you will find information from the perspective of the Historic Christian Faith, and a conservative approach to the interpretation of the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments. You will also find commentary on current issues and an exposition of the Scripture to address them.

We have a weekly email Bible study that goes out, presenting teachings which explain concepts and passages from the Bible. To subscribe, simply send an email to: shaan@heavenslight.org

Our ultimate purpose is to glorify God through the proclamation of His Word, to enjoy Him forever, and to lift up the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, so that people will come to know Him for who He is, the Creator, Sustainer and Lord of everything that can be named!

Heaven’s Light is authored by Shaan Sloan. Shaan and his wife Maxine live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Shaan is a pastor and Bible teacher at Heritage Christian
Fellowship
, a fully independent Bible church in Albuquerque.

1 Chronicles 29:11-13

“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; You are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from You; You are the ruler of all things. In Your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give You thanks, and praise Your glorious name.”

"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."
